Richard presents IMPROVe on Monday 14 April 13.00 at Vetenskapsfestivalen (The Science Festival) in Nordstan in Göteborg. He will also run sound workshops for teenagers and an IMPROVe concert in Bältespännarparken 15.00 on 17 April.

During spring 2008 we will run workshops with the music organization Musik i Väst in Göteborg. We will work with schools and museums in the Göteborg region.

The IMPROVe premier in Göteborg happens on Monday evening, 24 sep, at club Koloni. Koloni is this time at Restaurang Jord. Starts at 18.00.

‘An inspirational gathering focusing on future sound’ is how the Sound Days event introduces itself. Thats where IMPROVe will be on June 7th and 8th 2007.

The singing voices of the ÄÄnenkannattajat choir will be performed by the choir members themselves through IMPROVed phones at the nature reserve of the Vanhakaupungin Lahti (Old City Bay) on Sunday, 20th May, between 1400 and 1500. The event is arranged by the Masters of Arts organisers.

Richard Widerberg and Zeenath Hasan, initiators of the IMPROVe project, celebrate their MA New Media status with their close friends and family at the turn to a cheerful Baltic summer. Their work is exhibited in the Masters of Arts exhibition at the Lume gallery in Helsinki from the 7th to the 27th of May 2007. More about their works here: R, Z.

Izmir Bazaar

Recently IMPROVe were part of a workshop at K2 art center in Izmir, Turkey. We had a performance at K2 where we used recordings of the bazaar in Izmir.
